Kool April Nites is an annual classic car cruise and show that takes place in Redding, California, and features a wide variety of vintage and custom automobiles. The event draws car enthusiasts from all over the region, and the atmosphere is always lively and exciting.

In anticipation for this event (in 2022), I purchased the Nikon D850 along with a 50mm f/1.4 lens. I wanted to capture the various kool cars with the equipment I have been dreaming of owning since its release in 2017. Kool April Nights was my first event utilizing the D850, so in a way, it was a trial event to acclimate myself to the new equipment.
